What do you love about Currumbin SLSC?
I love that Currumbin is a cruisy, hard working, supportive club. Everyone enjoys training, trains hard and Supports each other like a family. When Karlee and I moved to Currumbin a month ago we felt welcomed straight away and fell in love with the green and white Vikings crew.

Who or what inspires you?
I have two people that inspire me both are fighters. Since I was young boxing legend Kostya Tszyu. Because he’s so respected, he always shut his mouth and let the fighting do the talking. He was a true real gentleman but an animal in the ring. Watching him fight he’s so smooth and in control.
And a new inspiration is UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. She’s confident and determined. She’s so family orientated, down to earth and smart. “I have no emotion just observation” She’s always aware, backs herself. And knows the work she’s done will pay off.

At what age did you win your first race in sls?
First race I ever won in surf life saving was the Under 17 board race at the NSW State

I love Currumbin because they have welcomed me with such opened arms ever since I started.. Everyone has such different personalities yet everyone clicks so well and everyone has something to bring to the table.

I love that it’s such a little club and how close I’ve gotten with the boys and girls.

Who or what inspires you?
I have so many extremely different inspirations in my life.
My dad inspires me to generally be a better person. He taught me that no matter what situation your in you do everything you can for your friends and especially your family.
My coach kingy inspires me to be a better athlete. That man has been through so much and no matter what he puts 110% in me. I would push and do anything for that man. He’s words and opinion has driven me to be a humble athlete.
An ironwomen that’s been there for me through thick and thin is Courtney Hancock. Not only is she the worlds best ironwomen she also has time for absolutely everyone. She’s put a lot of time in me emotionally and as an ironwomen. No matter what she has on her plate she’s always up for a chat when your feeling down.
Miley Cyrus has to be my weirdest inspiration. She’s taught me that no matter what who cares what people think. You can be whoever and whatever you want.
